CES 2006

The International Consumer Electronics Show (CES) is the world's largest annual tradeshow for consumer technology. This King Kong of trade shows gets the year off to a monster start by drawing over 2,500 exhibitors and more than 130,000 attendees from 110 countries.

Indeed the show virtually takes over the city of Las Vegas - this year its 1.6 million net square feet of exhibit space has spilled out the Las Vegas Convention Center into four additional exhibition venues in the city.

More than 30 CNET editors have flocked to the Consumer Electronics Show too to fill you in on the most groundbreaking gear at the show. Unfortunately, not all devices at CES will hit the Australian market, but we can get a taste of the technology trends that will be heading this way in one form or another. Dive in to see what the future holds!
