Biography

Biography:

Blunt Matter was formed by two guys living in Nottingham in 2006. The two decided to collaborate on a few mixes and Blunt Matter was created. The duo produced and released several tracks for a small independant label.

Blunt Matter's material ventured into the realms of downtempo genres, such as trip-hop, nu-jazz, electro-dub, and illbient. Currently, they are without a label, after lack of enthusiasm from their previous label.

The two members then mutually decided to seek out their own paths, wishing each other good luck, one returning to DJing, and the other remaining a music producer, who is now known only under the name 'Blunt Matter'. However, they will keep influencing each others music.

So Blunt Matter is still around, but will just head in a new direction for 2007, thanks for all the support in the past. Keep watching this space for further updates and new material.
