January Breaking News! Cherry Beach Sound (Toronto) attacked by truck hellbent on evil! We were rehearsing there not two days earlier and extend our sympathies and sincere "there-theres" to Karman and the crew. It could have been us in that front room!

Actual Bio! (Geuters) Started as an experiment to flesh out a night of music acts, the Invasion of the Blues Persuasion sets out to have a great time blending hot blues/metal guitar, melodic bass, and frenetic drums to kill time before the next performer or the next top 40 song on your podcast, whichever school you subscribe to! To quote bandleader Jon Brittain (the handsome gent in the picture), we aim to "kick the def jams".

Video games aside, we've come a long way in a few short years: we play live, enjoy it, and record shows and rehearsals when we can. It seems each time we play, we convert about twenty people and the soundman to our cause! Check out our tunes and enjoy. We play shotgun weddings and book signings!

PS Wow! Thanks all for making our first week on Download.com so download-alicious! As a bonus, we added a live recording from a couple years ago called The Arabian Cowboy - lots more energy, closer to shred blues if you can call it that. But since the site hadn't updated this new bio til now, it's hardly "new" now is it? So we jazzed up the band picture to reflect our love of all things joystick. Merry Valentines. No, YOU hang up.
