Palm Treo 500v: Compare prices

By Derek Fung on 16/10/2007

More Palm reviews , RRP: AU$749.00

The good:

  • Jazzed up Windows Mobile 6 interface
  • QWERTY keyboard, although it takes time to learn two thumb typing
  • Not carrier locked

The bad:

  • Laggy responses to button clicks
  • No Wi-Fi or HSDPA

The bottomline:

Although it's a good smartphone, the 500v needs either Wi-Fi or HSDPA to deliver that knockout punch.

Editors' rating:

7.1/10
