I Got It

  1. Mio DigiWalker C520

Bluetooth, text-to-speech, massive screen and good looks make the C520 a good GPS. Its great price transforms it into a great GPS.

  2. iPhone 3G (16GB)

While parts of the iPhone 3G are superb, there are still some big features missing from this device. If you add up the extras the iPhone doesn't seem like a phone that everyone can afford.

  3. Apple Airport Extreme

If you've got compatible 802.11n-ready gear now, Apple's Airport Extreme takes Wi-Fi speeds up a notch. The USB port for sharing disks is handy, however, network speed takes a hit if you put legacy 802.11b/g devices on your network.

  4. Nintendo Wii

The Nintendo Wii (nee Revolution) boasts the ability to play any title from Nintendo's back catalogue. Will that be enough to make it competitive against the powerful PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360?

  5. LG Viewty (KU990)

The touchscreen interface and sexier design will be enough to make knees tremble, however, the Viewty's 5-megapixel camera falls short of our expectations.

  6. Apple iPod Touch

If the Touch is the player that you want, that you really, really want, you've probably got one already. Fence-sitters should stay there until next year when third-party apps or version 2.0 comes out.

  7. Pioneer PDP-427XDA

The Pioneer PDP-427XDA scores with a stylish design, a built-in HD tuner and impressive picture quality, particularly if the set's been professionally calibrated.

  8. Apple iPod Nano (2GB)

Thanks to its limited capacity, the gorgeous Apple iPod Nano isn't for everybody, but it sets the standard for MP3 players to come.

  9. HP Photosmart 475

The HP 475 is quite a clever portable inkjet printer ideal for those fond of 4x6- or 5x7-inch prints. No computer is necessary - just lots of patience.

  10. Apple iMac G5

The trim, new iMac G5 receives an updated processor, but the machine is still more about style than substance.

  11. Sony Ericsson K750i

We can barely fault the 2-megapixel K750i from Sony Ericsson, which is a very compelling and easy-to-use handset for mobile users looking to upgrade.

  12. Sony Ericsson W550i

Sony Ericsson's second Walkman, the W550i, is a swivel phone due later this year that doubles as an MP3 player and a games console that can be played horizontally, vertically or L-shaped.
