WiFi is a nice to have, if you happen to be in a situation where you already own a WiFi point and the location of your console makes it difficult to reach a hard point.... Of course not many people would have a configuration that is specific enough to warrent using WiFi. Not only that but the number of devices you have using it can impare the stability. I also hope that you at least have WEP installed... not many PS3 owners would be considered technically savvy enough to realise they could be exposing their device. So all in all, once again the Xbox gives you the OPTION of having something, instead of forcing every single person who buys one to have WiFi... whether they wanted the extra expense or not. Nice one Sony!

....and once you go and purchase all these OPTIONS for your Xbox, you'll be wondering why you didn't just buy a PS3 (especially when they stop releasing HD-DVD movies). I read today they've only sold 3000 HD-DVD add-ons. Love it!!! Connection with my PS3 couldn't have been any more straight forward. I agree with his last point at least. Nice one Sony!

Did you know that you can dual format a HD-DVD disk so that it has both HD and normal DVD versions on the same disk? You can't do that with Blu-Ray. Did you also know that Blu-Ray are currently having problems with not only 3rd party players not reading disks but also PS3's not being able to read some of the new disks due to the protection layers added? Did you also know that Blu-Ray can't make its mind up on a standard MPEG-2 or MPEG-4 and that some players bought now wont read future discs (especially as the deadline for the format isn't until Oct 31). Nice one Sony!

gen_x buddy, the playstation 3 is superior to the xbox in every aspect. Take your fanboy attitude back to my360.com.au......I know you must be burning that you wasted your money on an inferior product....but such is life.

Milky. With only HALF of the video ram of the 360, can you explain how that makes it superior in "every way"? Take Assassin's Creed. They had problems squeezing everything onto a standard DVD for the xbox, but that is solved now. The problem they can't solve however is how to squeeze everything into the limited v-ram of the PS3. I don't need to go around casting dispersions at people and calling them fanboys. Please show a bit of maturity
