EA has conquered the Australian game charts again with Command and Conquer 3: Tiberium Wars this week. It fell down to third postion the week before, as the release of the TMNT movie caused a spike in the tie-in game sales.

Flagship PlayStation 3 (PS3) titles Resistance: Fall of Man and MotorStorm have climbed back into the top five, the only PS3 games to make it into the overall charts(data provided by GFK Australia). Meanwhile, Ricky Ponting International Cricket 2007 in sixth position is still selling well for the PlayStation 2--amidst the the action of the real life ICC Cricket World Cup.

In other charts for the week of April 9 to April 15, the Guitar Hero II bundle continues to rule for the Xbox 360 while the other charts remain for the most part unchanged from the previous week. It will be interesting to see if this trend continues following the release of The Lord of the Rings Online: Shadows of Angmar, F.E.A.R. for the PS3 and more.
